Why Invest in Philadelphia Now? – Converting Risk Capital to Success Stories
Continental Breakfast, Lunch, and Free Parking are included.
As a life science entrepreneur, raising capital is an exciting, challenging and a somewhat daunting experience. In the Philadelphia metro region, it has been more difficult since the 2008-2009 economic recession. Our Life Sciences community has lost businesses, jobs and investment capital to other regions across the USA. Upon the exit of these investment dollars, local entrepreneurs have found it tough to obtain seed money, and more problematic to acquire funding that could lead towards eventual commercialization and positive cash flow.
With this challenge in mind, members of the Life Sciences Collaborative have designed our 4th annual conference around this conversation. Our robust panels include leaders from life science investment management, regional incubators and biopharma firms. This program is focused on changing the game and reversing the trend of reduced access to investment capital in this region. Our panels of industry leaders will offer their guidance and real world experiences to help build your entrepreneurial skill set towards increased success within the Philadelphia metro area.
